How to Wire Funds

Webster Bank wire transfers can be initiated online (via the ‘Web-Link‘ service), in-person at a branch location, or over the phone. Listed below are the fees charged by Webster Bank for processing incoming/outgoing wire transfers:

  • Incoming – $15
  • Outgoing (domestic) – $30
  • Outgoing (international) – $40

Wires must be submitted by 4:00 PM (EST) for same day processing. Answers to specific questions/concerns regarding Webster Bank’s wire transfer protocols and policies can be answered by calling a cash management associate at 1-888-932-2256.

To initiate a wire transfer via ‘Web-Link,’ click the ‘Wire Transfers’ option from the side menu, and click on the ‘Enter’ button. Select between Domestic or International FX/USD wire transfer from within the ‘Wire Transfer Entry’ page.  For a domestic wire transfer, the following information is required:

-Basic information:

  • Full name
  • Address
  • Account number

-Beneficiary information:

  • Name of beneficiary
  • Address
  • Bank name
  • Account number
  • Wire details/instructions
  • ABA routing number of beneficiary’s bank
  • Remaining input fields
  • Beneficiary bank details (if being sent via another bank)

To view the status of your wire transfer, click on the ‘Pending’ option from the main wire transfer menu.
