Santander Bank uses two primary routing numbers, which are dependent on how long a customer’s bank account number is. For international payments/transfers, Santander provides its customers with one SWIFT code that is to be used for both incoming and outgoing transfers.

How to Wire Funds

In order to successfully receive an incoming domestic or international wire transfer, you must provide all of the following information to the sending financial institution:

  • Your full name
  • Your full mailing/street address (Cannot be a PO box)
  • Your full Santander Bank account number
  • SWIFT code (if international transfer)
  • Routing number
  • Santander Bank street address (Santander Bank, 601 Penn St, Reading PA 19601)
  • Amount to be wired

To initiate an outgoing domestic wire transfer, you will need to have the following information ready to process:

Note – personal account holders are only able to initiate wire transfers in-person at a Santander Bank branch location. Business banking customers can use online banking to initiate an outgoing wire transfer.

  • Name of the receiving financial institution
  • Street address of the receiving financial institution
  • Full name of the recipient
  • Account number of the recipient
  • Street address of the recipient (PO Box not permitted for use)

Wire Transfer Fees:

  • Branch/telephone domestic/international incoming transfer – $15
  • Branch/telephone domestic outgoing – $27
  • Online domestic outgoing – $22
  • International outgoing – $26-$40 (US currency) $21-$31 (foreign currency)
