How to Wire Funds

Rabobank account holders can transfer money within and to other banks.  Personal account holders are not allowed to transfer funds externally from their online banking account. They can, however, use the PeoplePay service to move funds to non-Rabobank accounts. To initiate an external wire transfer, one has to visit a branch location. Business account holders can initiate wire transfers to any bank and any country using their online banking account 24/7.

The following information should be provided for incoming wire transfers:

  • Beneficiary’s full name
  • Beneficiary’s Address (no PO Box)
  • BIC/IBAN/SWIFT Code (international transfers)
  • Beneficiary’s bank account number
  • Routing Number

For outgoing wire transfers, the following is required:

  • Sender’s full name
  • Sender’s address
  • Sender’s bank account number
  • BIC/IBAN/SWIFT Code (international transfers)
  • Routing number
  • Bank address
  • Intermediary bank details
  • Street address of the beneficiary
  • Account information of the beneficiary
  • Beneficiary’s bank address
  • Amount to be wired
  • Wire transfer details or special instructions
  • Any other information required by the beneficiary bank.
